Brush Jjaemu

A tense reflex brushing game. Groom fast, but freeze the second he turns back.

BRUSH. FREEZE. REPEAT.

Every cat has two moods. This one has two: purring under your brush, and biting the hand that strokes it. Your only job is to keep grooming him, as fast as you can, for as long as you can — without getting caught.

Inspired by the viral brush-jjaemu browser game, Brush Jjaemu turns a single finger drag into a tense red-light / green-light reflex test. Stroke the cat to score. Stop dead when he turns around. Miss the moment he looks back? He'll lunge at the camera with a roar and a full-screen YOU DIED.


GAMEPLAY

Drag your finger across the cat to brush. Longer strokes score more.
He turns around at a random moment between 1 and 5 seconds.
When he's watching — FREEZE. Don't move a pixel.
Move while he's staring and you're bitten. Run over.
Top your high score. Beat your friends. One more try.

Made with React Native and a custom gesture engine for a tight, responsive feel on every phone. Built by a solo indie dev as a love letter to the original brush-jjaemu and to everyone who's ever tried to groom a very judgmental cat.
