The Tree Check app allows you to determine the species of a tree from a simple photo. It will tell you what its typical features are, but also a lot of fun facts about it, such as how much water it evaporates, the size of the shade it provides and how much it cools the hot street. With Tree Check, you will finally fully understand how trees help our city life.
Life really is not easy for the trees in cities - they have little room for roots and even less water. Find out what condition the tree is in and how you can help it. Visit the tree, pour it a few litres of water and get a reward, for example in the form of a story about trees.
You can add the trees you have visited to the map, visit them again, or create your tree collection. For example, make a collection of all the memorable trees in your city. That is a challenge!
