OrthoRad - the reference database for skeletal radiography OrthoRad serves as an offline reference (image) database for skeletal radiography for both MTRs and doctors in their daily routine.

The need for reference image databases in the field of handhelds is increasing for reasons of practicability and increasing diagnostics at digital workstations. Advantages of such databases can be B. in projection radiography and in cross-sectional diagnostics. A reference database of traumatological skeletal radiography was to be established with the OrthoRad program. Material and methods: Over the course of a year, the most important standard settings and special images of skeletal radiography of young, healthy adults were collected and released for the OrthoRad database after expert assessment. Oriented to the workflow of MTRs and doctors, the collected image material was organized according to body regions under OrthoRad. During the MTRs e.g. Information on storage and cassette format is available, the doctor receives important information on X-ray anatomy, reference data on the human skeleton and information on common trauma and orthopedic diseases.
