App Description

Train discrimination skills in children with APD

Do you need to train the ability to distinguish noise in a child with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD)? With Støjapp you get a tool for this.

Støjapp contains different noise types with varying volumes, e.g. evening party, recess and shopping mall, which you can freely choose from, depending on what you want to train. The idea is that the app is used in teaching together with the task you want the child to perform. An example could be that the child has to listen to a reading of a piece of text with "evening party" as background noise and then has to reproduce what has been read out.

The sounds in Støjapp have been collected and calibrated by DELTA, and hearing consultant Dorthe Mølgaard is responsible for the hearing educational guidance in using the app.
