This strategic and tactical game is played with 32 cards (a deck without cards from 2 to 6), usually with "Hungarians" although you can also choose regular poker cards, as well as "Croatians".

Basic rules of White:
◼ White or belot is played in pairs (2 against 2), and each player receives 8 cards.
◼ The goal of the game is to win a pre-agreed number of points (usually 1001).
◼ During each round, a trump card is determined, a suit that has an advantage over other cards.
◼ Players collect points by winning tricks and reporting their ranks.

If you play white "on a pass", then the game ends the moment one pair first reaches or exceeds 1001 points. This rule makes white more dynamic and shorter, because everything is decided at the moment the goal is crossed.
If you choose the game type "on enough" the game does not end automatically when someone reaches or exceeds 1001 points. Instead, it is played to the end of the current hand, giving each pair a chance to catch up.
The winner is the pair with the most points after the end of the hand in which 1001 points have been reached or exceeded.
