My Menopause is an application designed to calculate the quality of life of women in the transition to menopause. In a simple way you can provide data related to your health, symptoms related to menopause and its treatments. In addition to calculating your quality of life related to your health during menopause, you will contribute to optimizing and updating the Spanish quality of life reference values, which will be useful to all Spanish women in the same situation.
The application has several sections:
• Data entry: with them the quality of life values ​​that will be calculated by the Cervantes SF scale are adjusted and will help to establish normality standards in the Spanish population.
• Cervantes SF Scale: This scale developed by the Spanish Association for the Study of Menopause (AEEM) measures the quality of life related to your health in the transition to menopause. It consists of 16 items graded from 0 to 5 points and analyzes the impact on your life of menopausal symptoms. The scale has been validated for the Spanish population and is internationally accepted (Coronado PJ, et al. Maturitas. 2021; 146: 34–41).
• Test result: in this section you can see the impact of your symptoms on your quality of life. The score will range from 0 to 100, where 0 is the minimum impact (which means the best quality of life) and 100 corresponds to the maximum impact on your quality of life (which means the worst quality of life). Several scores are represented: global and by domains. The domains correspond to the different facets that can be altered during the menopausal transition and are: menopause and health (assesses hot flashes and related symptoms), psychic sphere, impact on sexuality and couple relationship.
• Evolution: in this section you can see all the results of your tests and thus know their evolution over time. To avoid duplication, the test cannot be repeated until 3 months after the previous one.

My Menopause is a tool created by the AEEM for you to assess for yourself how menopause affects your life and how it could improve it. It is designed specifically for women who are both in perimenopause (period in which the periods come with irregularities and delays accompanied by symptoms such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, mood changes, insomnia, etc.) or in postmenopause (period in which the woman has stopped menstruating for more than 12 months). Registration in the application is free and gives you the opportunity to get to know each other better in this period of the woman's life. In addition, once you have logged in, you can benefit from the contents of the AEEM website, which includes detailed information about menopause and you can make comments and questions related to your personal experience.
