App Description

Attenberger Connector connects your GPS receiver with an Android software.

The Attenberger Connector connects your GPS or GNSS receiver with Android software for GIS, construction, surveying or machine controls.

The app expects NMEA data via Bluetooth from a GPS or GNSS receiver, which in turn must be able to receive RTCM correction data via Bluetooth. The tablet must have a connection to the mobile internet (SIM card or WLAN). Standard deviations / accuracies and DOP values are also displayed.

The program overwrites the imprecise position of a GPS installed in the tablet with the position of an external GPS or GNSS receiver. The height is also overwritten. This makes it possible to use a centimeter-accurate position and height in the tablet.

You can download the Attenberger Connector free of charge and request a 30-day demo code. An annual usage fee has to be paid for permanent use. Use this link to request your code:

Our app controls the connection to a correction data service via Ntrip and transforms the coordinates into the coordinate system selected or received from the correction data service (RTCM messages). The height transformation is also taken into account, so that both ellipsoidal and heights are displayed in the local height system.
