Increase links, cooperation and eco-projects between residents

Coop-Ere has designed an innovation that multiplies the links, cooperation and environmental actions between the inhabitants of a micro-district (a few streets, a group of buildings, a residence, at most 500 housing units).

To achieve this, the association sets up small groups of driving inhabitants, then supports them step by step so that they can develop the action around their homes.

Concretely, the association informs the inhabitants of a sector, forms these driving groups and then supports each group in:
• List what can be shared: advice, helping hands, hobbies, materials, carpooling, group purchases, help for the elderly, etc. These offers are listed on a platform, specifically created for each scope;
• Organize Café-Rencontres in the public space to keep the link alive, discuss expectations and raise awareness of environmental issues;
• Initiate collective projects based on their areas of interest;
• Communicate sharing potential and achievements.

Tested on 5 pilot sites, this experiment generated an average of 200 meeting and mutual aid offers per site. It also allowed the inhabitants to initiate their first shared projects (group purchases, collective vegetable gardens, coffee meetings).

The application allows them to identify their mutual aid offers, discuss among themselves, choose collective projects, and be aware of environmental issues.
