La Grande Mêlée is a virtual rugby championship based on the Top 14.
The Grande Mêlée is a virtual championship where the participants embody the role of a manager responsible for the creation and management of a rugby group, selected from all the staff of the Top 14 clubs.
Each of the participants in the game can join the “Classic” mode and / or the “Mercato” mode in which they compete on the transfer market.
On each day of the championship on La Grande Mêlée, the participants of the game select on their "Match sheet" 15 holders and up to 3 substitutes. They can also select their "captain" among the titular players (his points will count double) and their "SuperSub" on the bench (his points will count triple if and only if the latter starts the match in real life as a substitute ).
At the end of the matches, each player earns points based on their actual performance. These points obtained represent the sum of "Team" points (in proportion to the player's actual presence on the field) and individual points which depend on the player's personal statistics (try, penalty, tackle, yellow card, red card, etc.) .
