Helping KASP-PMJAY users access health info, cards & care—anytime

“KASP Health App” is a user-friendly Mobile Application introduced by the
State Health Agency (SHA), Kerala with the support of Kerala
Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) to provide
details about Health insurance schemes - Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi
KASP -PMJAY. Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi (KASP) is the Government
health insurance scheme which aims at providing a health cover of Rs. 5 lakhs
per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization to over 42
Lakhs poor and vulnerable families that form 40% of the Kerala population.
Presently, a citizen needs to physically visit the SHA Kiosk in an empaneled
hospital to obtain information regarding eligibility and balance availability.
The mobile app will provide information regarding insurance scheme
eligibility, balance amount available, information regarding empaneled
hospitals based on location and specialty. SHA will also provide relevant
health notifications to users through the notification feature.
By providing reliable and accurate information regarding the Government
Health Insurance Scheme – KASP –PMJAY, the mobile application will help in
the reduction of health-related out-of-pocket expenditure among the poor and
vulnerable families
