tvusage is a parental control app designed for parents and guardians to monitor and manage their child's screen time on Google/Android TV, Android phones, and Android tablets.

When installed on your child's device, tvusage tracks app usage and enforces screen time rules you set. A persistent notification is displayed on the device at all times while monitoring is active, so the device user always knows tvusage is running.

Accessibility Service

This app uses an optional Accessibility Service to detect the currently active application on the device. This is used to enforce app blocking and screen time restrictions in real time. The accessibility service does not read, collect, or transmit the content displayed within apps. It is used solely for foreground app detection. The app remains functional without this service enabled, though real-time app blocking may be limited on some devices.

Monitoring Disclosure

tvusage is a child monitoring application. It is intended exclusively for parents and legal guardians to manage their minor children's screen time. The app monitors app usage, enforces restrictions, and displays a persistent notification on the monitored device at all times. tvusage must not be used to monitor any adult's device.
