An online monitoring dashboard to digitally provide a bird’s eye view of IR

Indian Railways (IR) is a mammoth organization & on its digital landscape, there is a plethora of information spread across various departments & locations all over India. Real-time availability of such information along with Quick-Analysis, decision making & monitoring had always been a tedious exercise for Ministers and Apex level officials. e-Drishti is an online dashboard to bring information from myriad sources under a single window to digitally provide a bird’s eye view of key parameters of IR. This software helps officials to keep complete track of the happenings concerning passenger/freight earnings, expenditure, grievances, loading/unloading of freight, passenger train/freight rakes movement at any point of time, project-related development, Casual Labours. Bill Payments, etc. The Ministry remains connected, updated & able to monitor the entire rail network through e-Drishti at any place, any point of time whether it is about trains running late or live monitoring of IRCTC kitchens. The progress of major development initiatives viz. Station Beautification, Improved Facilities like ATMs, WiFi, toilets, CCTVs, etc at Stations can be monitored by evaluating their Before & After Photos regularly. e-Drishti has drastically reduced the time to compile the useful information and eliminated chances of error due to automated data communication with IT systems of IR.
To supplement ease of use, anytime anywhere availability of dashboard, e-Drishti Mobile App has been developed to supplement the Web Dashboard version.
