App that allows access to the Digital Passport of agri-food products

Trust Your Food, the free APP that allows you to: access the Digital Passport of agri-food products by easily verifying the authenticity of the data, access supply chain information, promote and communicate directly between producer/consumer and much more.

The latest traceability experience in the Food sector is the result of the collaboration between Poligrafico CSQA certifications and Fondazione Qualivita. The new system provides Consortia/producers of Geographical Indication agri-food products with an effective and innovative technological solution. The system uses a personalized mark connected to the "Trust Your Food" APP through which it is possible to verify the origin and authenticity of the data reported on the label and encourage the exchange of information between producers and consumers.
The APP allows each producer to manage and customize a specific area through which they can transmit promotional messages, communicate directly with the consumer, monitor strategic market information.
Finally, the traceability system allows for precise control of production as already happens for DOC/DOCG wines.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
• Photograph the datamatrix printed on the sign (also allows you to type or dictate the code)
• Queries the Poligrafico information system
• Check the correspondence of the control code with the one on the label
• View information relating to the product (some of which is shown on the label)

WHY IS IT SAFE?
• The mark is a physical support that is difficult to counterfeit because it is created with advanced production and printing systems
• The coding system is based on robust algorithms that provide an alphanumeric identifier for each product example
• The information is distributed between Poligrafico's information systems, control structures and producers

KEY FEATURES
• Security of purchase: verify the match between the code printed on the label and the information on the label, guaranteeing the authenticity of the product
• Quick check: scan the datamatrix printed on the ticket and query the Poligrafico information system in real time
• Keep the list of checks: with the history of checks it is possible to report doubts about the authenticity of the products at any time

Poligrafico, a company of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, creates anti-counterfeiting and traceability systems for the Italian State in sectors of particular interest for public health and safety.
