Wine Club 22 was born to spread the culture of wine...

Wine Club 22 was created to spread the culture of wine, the awareness of drinking and feeling good among friends. The heart of the Club is, therefore, WINE and FRIENDSHIP, two catalyst elements that were easily reconciled thanks to the amateur passion for wine of some friends. The Club's focus is to spread knowledge of wine through thematic evenings in which a part is dedicated to training and the remainder to tasting national wines, according to a regional wine tour, followed by the introduction of foreign wines. Wine Club 22 does not want to be a professional training or tasting school, which we are surrounded by, but has the much more important ambition of providing pills of wine culture, according to a program studied by our members who are experts in the sector, in an environment of intimate friendship. The aim, therefore, is to allow the acquisition of all the basic knowledge techniques for choosing and tasting a wine, knowing how to tell and share with others the sensations that that wine conveys to one's senses, spreading its culture and dismantling the place common reason that only by spending a lot can you drink well. However, at the same time, it must also be an opportunity to discover and taste those renowned wines that we often don't have the opportunity to try. The evenings open with a short "training illustration", lasting around 15 minutes, so that everyone can understand and acquire the different concepts of wine, from the various phases of winemaking to its service, followed by blind tastings of regional wines chosen, which will then be voted on with a tasting card and, finally, "quickly" and "explained" by the speaker members who will alternate from time to time. In addition to tasting evenings, the Club organizes and participates in events, from simple visits to wineries to thematic evenings between its members and other groups. A combination of technical training, tasting and fun, which aim to enhance the qualities of WINE and FRIENDSHIP, merging them into a single concept: KNOWLEDGE.
