This app links with Google's Health Connect to accurately tally step counts and distance for walking events and step point awarding.
Step count and distance data obtained via Health Connect is used only for in-app rankings, goal achievement assessments, and point awarding.

*The method of linking walking information changed as of June 9, 2025.
The Android version of Sports Town WALKER linked walking information directly from Google Fit, but on June 9, 2025, we released a version that links walking information via Health Connect.
The version that links with Health Connect is version 5.0.0 and later. If you haven't updated the app yet, please update to the latest version from Google Play.
Existing users will also need to migrate to linking with Health Connect.

-Convenient Sports Town notifications and link features
If your area is a "Sports Town*," you can access convenient links like notifications from your local government and disaster prevention maps.
In October, a virtual walking event will be held between Sports Towns, so let's all get involved and get excited about sports in our town.
