App Description

Crisis response hints & tools for disability support staff in tough moments.

In the middle of a meltdown, there is no time to search for what to do. — This app is a little "support charm" for staff working in disability services: response hints you can pull up in seconds, and everyday reading that quietly sharpens your support skills.

With invisible disabilities — autism, mental illness, intellectual disability, and their combinations — it is often hard to know how to respond to what is happening right in front of you. This app puts that "what do I do now" in your hand.

■ Four tabs
• When stuck — 12 situation cards (panic, self-harm, aggression, running off, seizures, and more). "First, do this" is always just three items; "what NOT to do" is marked in red. Each card includes an "out and about" section for stations and crowds. Afterwards, save a record in about 30 seconds with taps only (paste it into your handover).
• Look up — a reference of 11 traits (autism spectrum, ADHD, intellectual disability, schizophrenia, epilepsy, severe behavioral challenges, and more): how things may feel to the person (tendencies), communication tips, environmental adjustments, approaches to avoid, and advance preparation. An evidence page shows what the content is grounded in.
• Learn — a hint of the day, plus case quizzes where the "why" matters more than the right answer.
• Communicate — a talking aid (spoken phrases and a keyboard) and a writing board for moments when speaking is hard. Plus a big visual timer for making time visible: digital or analog (analog countdown), 5/10/15-minute presets plus custom, with a choice of end sounds (beeps, a chime, or a voice saying "Finished").

■ Highlights
• "First, do this" is capped at three items — an amount you can actually read in an emergency
• Informed by international frameworks — UK NICE guidelines, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), TEACCH, the US Epilepsy Foundation & CDC, and the UN CRPD — every line written by the developer, a certified care worker with frontline disability-support experience
• Everything is a tendency and a hint, never a label; the person in front of you always comes first
• No name fields in records, and no personal data collected at all (records stay on your device)
• Works offline, completely free, no ads
• Available in 14 languages

■ Important note
This app makes no medical decisions. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number and follow the instructions of the person's doctor.

May it bring a deep breath to someone, somewhere, on the front line.
