You keep your images and videos on your "Blox", which is a decentralized node you own, and you can browse them through the app, giving you the same experience of smoothness as Google Photos or Apple Photos. Fx Fotos is a free application, however, if you want to keep your photos on a decentralized Fula node instead of your phone, to keep them safe and accessible, you should purchase the hardware.
