Cardiac arrest, a frequent and dramatic event as sudden, must be dealt with immediately and in a very short time; it can affect anyone between a man or a woman, between a young person and an old person, between an athlete or a sedentary.
The project "Cuore Nostro" wants to put the conditions to protect citizens and institutions of cardiac arrest by creating awareness of the prevention of ischemic heart disease, the first cause of cardiac arrest, through the identification and organization of places to be protected, with the goal of reducing cardiac arrest mortality.
For these reasons our goal is to spread the culture of emergency in the community, raising awareness of institutions and citizens to play a decisive role in the first aid intervention awaiting the arrival of 118, thus strengthening the number of life-saving tools (DAE), raising the subjects capable and motivated to defibrillation, creating maps for each territory with the cardioprotected areas where to register all the AEDs with the ability to calculate in real time, through geolocation, the fastest route to the nearest one.
