App for relatives of patients with dementia. The DEA-App gives more joy to life
Due to the demographic development also in Austria the number of people affected by dementia is increasing. 85% of these people live at home and most of their care is provided by relatives. The DEA app - developed by NOUS - is aimed primarily at the carers - on the one hand to reduce their burden, on the other hand to increase the quality and competence of care and therefor maintain a high quality of life. It should help to facilitate and structure everyday life, to network with other caregivers and to offer concrete and individual everyday activities. Additionally you get well-founded information about dementia, contact addresses and phone numbers at hand in an emergency case - DEA enables also the exchange or networking with other caregivers.
