If you’re new to ASB, or we’ve asked for proof of ID or address, download the ASB ID app and verify who you are from the comfort of your home.
Need to prove your ID?
All you need is a valid e-passport, your ASB login details and a NFC compatible phone. If you don’t have a passport, you can use your NZ driver licence. The app will ask you to scan your ID and your face, selfie-style.
Need to prove your address?
Electronically verify your address by uploading a relevant document, follow the instructions in the app.
Once your identity or address are verified and confirmed you can delete the ASB ID app.
