App Description
Gain deep insights on English nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs
WordLink Explorer is an Android app for navigating the Princeton University WordNet dataset - a lexical database of English nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs, and the relationships among them. Search for a word, and WordNetExp shows you all the semantic equivalence groups (synsets) for that word. Tap on a synset, and you'll see all related synsets: hypernyms, meronyms, antonyms, and more! WordNet is like a thesaurus, but even more powerful.
Features of WordLink Explorer include: support for all current Android versions, optimized portrait and landscape operation, sharing, help, look-up with Internet dictionary web sites, and file saving.
Based on the WordNet 3.1 dataset, from May 2011. Note that the WordNet data is included in this application -- normal operation does not require Internet access. All use of WordNet data complies with the Princeton WordNet terms.
