App Description

Piece together a carved Greek myth each night and light its stars in your sky.

One Greek myth a night, restored by lamplight.

Each night the Oracle chooses a myth. Its carved marble relief lies broken on a lamplit table out on a terrace above the sea. Lift the fragments, turn them in your fingers and set them back in their frame. When the last piece goes in, the cracks glow gold and seal, and the tale rises beneath the carving: its title, a line from Homer or Bulfinch, and a short retelling.

Every myth you restore lights its figure in your own night sky.

A CALM NIGHTLY RITUAL
• A new myth from the Oracle every night, free for everyone
• Five quiet minutes, or a longer evening: Wanderer (6 pieces), Hero (8) or Legend (12)
• Keep your nights in a row, and gild each relief in bronze, silver and gold leaf
• A gentle reminder at the hour you choose

RELIEFS TO RESTORE
• Athena and the Olive Tree, Pandora's Box, Prometheus, Giver of Fire, Perseus and Medusa, Pegasus and the Spring, Odysseus and the Cyclops, Hades, King of the Dead, Oedipus and the Sphinx and more
• Real 3D fragments that fit exactly, broken a different way each time a myth returns
• A faint guide in the frame, hints when you seem stuck, and a lamp that lights the next piece
• Collections: The Olympians, The Labors of Heracles, Heroes and Monsters, The Odyssey, The Trojan War, The Underworld, Love and Tragedy

THE TALES
• Each myth with a line from the old books, Homer's Odyssey and Bulfinch's Age of Fable, and a short retelling
• Narrated tales: a narrator tells each myth, every word lighting gold as it is spoken
• Your night sky: Pegasus, the Pleiades, Aries, Corvus and more, each lit by the myth that belongs to it

QUIET BY DESIGN
• No ads, no account, no tracking. Your progress stays on your device.
• Reduced motion, larger text and a silent mode in Settings
