GDPR Nordic is an independent, privately operated app. We are NOT a government
entity and do not represent one. We are not IMY (the Swedish data protection
authority), not the European Commission and not the Swedish Tax Agency, and we
are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any public
authority. The name "GDPR Nordic" refers to the EU regulation the app helps you
use — not to any government body. The app gives general information, not legal
advice.

WHAT THE APP DOES
Find, request removal of, and monitor your personal data on Nordic people-search
sites and in search engines — with honest per-source status and evidence.
• Multi-search: Google, Bing and more — not just one engine
• Status per source: queued, submitted, removed, denied, reappeared
• Evidence: case ID, timestamps and a copy of the request in the app
• Monitoring: alert when your data resurfaces
• Family: protect up to 4 people

HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan — see where your name, address or phone appears
2. Approve — the app drafts a request you read and send yourself
3. Track status — colour-coded pipeline per source
4. Monitor — notification if something is republished

WHY THE DATA IS THERE — PUBLIC RECORDS IN SWEDEN
In Sweden, name, address and year of birth are public information — this follows
from the principle of public access in the Freedom of the Press Act, and the data
originates from the population register. People-search sites may publish it, and
several also hold a voluntary publishing certificate (utgivningsbevis). Removal
is still possible, but that is why data can come back and why some sources
refuse. We always show which source refused, and why.

HONEST PROMISE

published data may remain. The decision is the recipient's, never ours.
