Lift Up Your Hearts Hymnal is the Android edition of the hymnal Lift Up Your Hearts: Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs (© Faith Alive Christian Resources, 2013), with razor-sharp music, powerful search capabilities, and information about songs and their authors.

This free app includes more than 220 public domain songs in Lift Up Your Hearts: Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs, including favorites such as “Amazing Grace,” “To God Be the Glory,” and “My Jesus, I Love Thee.” Through an in-app purchase, you can access to the Pew edition which includes all public domain and copyrighted hymns (all 965 titles in the printed edition).

For each song there is information that may include a description of the song, a brief biography of the author or composer, and information for worship leaders such as performance suggestions and available arrangements. Brief audio clips are also available for most songs.

The search box allows you to search for songs by first line, author, composer, topic, tune, meter or scripture passages quoted or alluded to. A handy keypad lets you jump immediately to a song by number.

You can also put together a customizable setlist which lets you flip to specific hymns directly according to the service order.

The FlexScores edition adds our revolutionary FlexScores for most of the hymns. These include large print, lead sheet, projection, and instrumental versions. Users are able to adjust the music and text size of the scores and transpose them.

The versions offered for FlexScores include accompaniment, pew, lead sheet, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, alto or tenor saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, and tuba. For the instrumental versions, the music is transposed into an appropriate range and displayed in an appropriate clef for the instrument.
