Weather Monitor is a free weather app that allows you to check Japan Meteorological Agency weather forecasts, rain radar, and AMeDAS observation data all on one screen.

This app compactly displays various weather-related information on a single screen, allowing you to easily find the information you need by simply scrolling.

== Information provided by the Weather Monitor ==

* 3-hour forecast (regional time-series forecast)
Displays 3-hour forecasts for weather, temperature, and wind, along with thumbnails of surrounding areas in the weather distribution forecast. By checking the weather in the surrounding area together, you can quickly determine whether it's perfectly clear or mostly cloudy, even if it's the same "sunny" forecast.

* Weekly forecast and calendar
Displays weather, precipitation probability, maximum and minimum temperatures, and forecast reliability up to 7 days in advance.
In addition, you can view holidays, the 24 solar terms, seasonal festivals, average temperatures, moon phases, sunrise and sunset times, etc., in a yearly calendar format, making it easier to grasp long-term seasonal changes.

* 15-Hour Rain Cloud Radar
While the Japan Meteorological Agency's website provides separate high-precision rain cloud radars up to 1 hour ahead and lower-precision rain cloud radars up to 15 hours ahead, the Weather Monitor allows you to seamlessly view data up to 15 hours in advance.
Links to disaster maps (landslides, floods, inundation) are also included.

* Disaster Prevention Information
Warnings, advisories, major earthquakes, and typhoons are displayed when applicable.

* AMeDAS Observation Data
Temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, rainfall, and snow depth are displayed in hourly graphs. Graphs can be viewed going back up to 7 days.
The latest data, updated every 10 minutes, is also available.

* Weather Maps and Pressure Patterns
Actual weather maps (every 3 hours) from the past 3 days, and forecast weather maps (24 hours, 48 ​​hours) are displayed in animation format, allowing you to visually check changes in pressure patterns.

* Himawari Satellite Images
Hourly Himawari satellite images from the past 3 days are displayed in animation format. You can get a wide-area overview of cloud movement.

* Weather Overview Commentary
You can also check the weather overview commentary published by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

A collection of links provides quick access to various related information, including long-range forecasts, UV information, yellow dust information, pollen information, live cameras, river information, hazard maps, heatstroke information, and railway operation information.
