The Integrated Village Development Programme (IVDP) 2.O is a holistic, community led rural development initiative that works to uplift underserved villages by improving livelihoods, water management, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and local governance through an integrated approach that addresses economic, environmental, and social needs simultaneously; it promotes sustainable income through agriculture support, micro enterprises, and skill development centres, enhances natural resource management with interventions like farm ponds and land rejuvenation, strengthens education through upgraded school infrastructure and digital learning tools, improves community health via mobile medical units and maternal child health initiatives, and empowers villagers through self help groups and participatory governance—ultimately transforming villages into self reliant, empowered, and sustainable communities.
