Digital Rupee (also known as eRupee) is an invite-based initiative launched by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). It is a new form of currency (a legal tender), similar to sovereign paper currency, and is issued in digital form by the Reserve Bank of India. It is currently accessible to Kotak Bank customers by invitation only.

For early access, please register at www.kotak.com. You can type "Digital Rupee" on the website's search icon at the top and learn more about digital rupee on the webpage.

Kotak Digital Rupee app will facilitate secure, faster, and digital currency transaction using a wallet. This eRupee wallet will be like your physical wallet in digital form, on your device.
