XSM-PED is an app to configure Odyssey Technologies XSM devices securely.
XSM-PED is an app to configure Odyssey Technologies XSM devices securely.
xorkee security module (XSM) is a device to securely isolate
cryptographic key tokens in a way that one or more configured users of
any xorkee enabled applications can use the signature functions of the
token.
The device runs an always-on client that keeps scanning for
signature instructions from authorized users through any of the xorkee
applications.
When the device is initially deployed or its location or
connectivity parameters changed, the network and the token related
information has to be configured in the device. As the device does not
have any i/o peripherals, such configuration has to be done only through
wi-fi. XSM-PED fulfills that need. To that end the XSM device will
temporarily act as a wi-fi access point and the XSM-PED app helps the
users to connect and perform the configuration.
The app is essential for anyone using Odyssey XSM but will be sparingly
used.
