App Description

AR brings to life the legends and stories associated with each Monforte panel!

This app is a Digital Augmented Reality Application for mobile devices, intended as a virtual assistant for the "Monforte Sacro" experience. It will serve as support for visitors to the renovated Espírito Santo Church in Monforte, in order to increase the value of the tile heritage on display and its history. It is an interaction tool with the restored tile panels, which enhances the user experience. In this sense and in order to offer a differentiating experience, the application should allow visitors to interact with the works in the museum space. Through animations presented using Augmented Reality, it should be possible to better understand the legends and historical stories associated with the tile panels on display. Furthermore, the digital content developed should allow visitors to have a close experience with the heritage enhancement project and with a central personality that left profound marks on Monforte - Rainha Santa Isabel. A photo-realistic 3D Avatar will be implemented in the App, which will guide visitors through the space, helping them to understand the different moments represented in the panels through the Meta-Guided functionality.
