The Nigerian Candidate, an app to showcase candidates to Nigerian electorates

The Nigeria Candidate is an application developed by Reachpas ITS, a nongovernment/political entity, to showcase all political parties and their candidates vying for the office of The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Hence, the information contained in the application is for general information purposes only and the Application doesn’t represent any government entity.

It is part of a private and independent concerted effort to maximize sound awareness through alternative means of communication among Nigerians on the personality of the candidates as well as their experience or previous achievement (if any).

The application is set to keep people inform not only on the candidates and their political parties but also on the elections schedule as well as the results when officially released by the Independent Electoral Commision's websites: https://www.inecnigeria.org and https://www.inecelectionresults.ng, our main sources of information.

The candidates'-including their vice presidential: names, ages, qualifications, and their respective political parties' names, addresses, contact, and logos were all obtained from the INEC website mentioned above. Moreover, updates on election dates, the number of voters, results, as well as voting procedures, were all obtained from the same source.

The images and experience of the candidate and their respective vice presidential candidates appear herein were obtained and used through either online media sources or social media on fair use terms.
