This app converts spoken speech to text and vice versa and can be used to communicate with deaf and hard of hearing people.
Listens and recognizes
Speech is recognized and displayed on the smartphone screen as text. To help the app understand you better, speak slowly and clearly, using simple phrases.
Speaks aloud
The app allows you to type your response, and the phone will speak the typed phrase or display the text to your interlocutor—the message can be expanded to fill the entire screen.
Suggests pre-written phrases
The app also includes pre-written phrases: for example, if you need to start a conversation, take a place in line at a store, or ask for help. You can also add your own suggestions to the list.
Saves communication history
The app accurately records all your conversations (both spoken and written) as dialogues. Any dialogue can be continued.
For now, you can only communicate using Yandex Talk:
