Welcome to the FREE Princes Risborough Heritage Trail App! This app provides a fascinating and informative guide to the history of Princes Risborough.
We have three trails for you to choose from:
1) Risborough Town Heritage Trail. This is a flat and easy walking trail for people interested in the heritage of Princes Risborough Town Centre. This trail is a circular walk that begins and ends at Wades Car Park. It goes through the town centre where there are many independent shops and cafes. There is a public toilet at the top of the High Street near Marks and Spencer.
2) Whiteleaf Walking Trail This route offers breath-taking views of the Chilterns from the Whiteleaf Cross monument, returning through the town centre. The route includes a steep incline on the road at Kop Hill. The majority of the trail is off-road and is 5.2km approx.
3) Risborough Heritage Treasure Trail A children's treasure trail with 11 stopping points from Wades Park playground to the library in the town centre. This trail is perfect for accompanied children of all ages and it includes a visit to the park and the library. Children are introduced to the heritage of Princes Risborough and they need to find the answers to 11 questions to win some treasure. A perfect, free weekend activity. A treasure map is available to accompany this trail, this can be collected from Monday to Saturday at Princes Pets in Duke Street.
