FizzCounter is a simple offline CO₂ cylinder tracker for households that make sparkling water with compatible home sparkling-water makers.

Set up your equipment, start a cylinder, log sparkling bottles, estimate how much CO₂ remains and see when your cylinder may run out. FizzCounter helps you keep track of bottle counts, refill costs, cost per bottle, cost per litre and real cylinder weigh-ins.

The app includes a guided Fizzing Assistant for supported Terra-compatible setups. It walks you through the basic carbonation flow, including setup checks, filling cold water to the bottle’s fill line, attaching the bottle and following timed carbonation prompts. Sounds and vibrations can be turned on or off independently in Settings.

FizzCounter is designed for practical household tracking. Instead of relying only on broad marketing litre claims, it uses your bottle logs and cylinder weigh-ins to improve future estimates. You can add measured cylinder weights, review estimated use against actual use and adjust the app’s CO₂-per-press estimate for future logs.

Privacy is simple: FizzCounter does not require an account, does not use adverts, does not use analytics, does not track you and does not send your data to our servers. Your app data is stored locally on your device. Export and sharing actions only happen when you choose them.

If you have iCloud Backup or Google/Android Backup enabled on your device, the operating system may include FizzCounter’s local app data in your normal device backup. This is not live sync, and FizzCounter does not use CloudKit, Google Drive API, Firebase or developer-accessible cloud storage.

FizzCounter is an independent utility app. It can be used with selected SodaStream-compatible home sparkling-water setups, but it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SodaStream or any sparkling water brand. SodaStream is a trademark of its owner. Estimates are for household tracking only.
