App Description

Passport Checker to check your passport is valid for travel in the EU

I built Passport Checker after falling foul to the rule changes post Brexit and loosing a £5k holiday. The aim of the app is to help prevent it happening to others by providing a tool that can give you an indication if your passport is likely to be invalid for travel.

Just enter your passports issue date and expiry date, then the date you travel and return and the Passport Checker will tell you if your passport meets the new 10 year passport entry requirement for the EU and tells you if you have 3 or 6 valid months left for countries that require that.

We plan to make future updates to provide more features like being able to manage your whole families passports from the Passport Checker so stick around for future updates ;)

Please note this app is intended to help check if your passport is valid for travel in the EU and is primarily setup to check for EU countries and their entry requirements.

It may work for other countries that have similar rules e.g countries that specify 3 and 6 months entry requirements but the EU calculates this from the date you LEAVE the country, so you should be aware non EU countries may calculate this differently.

The app should not be used as your only source of clarification and if you get warnings that you passport is invalid or close to being invalid for travel we recommend that you always double check with your airline and get confirmation that you are able to travel.

While we endeavour to make sure the date calculations we use are accurate as possible, we can’t guarantee how different airlines and countries interpret the rules. We can’t accept any liability from any financial losses as a result of not following advice in this disclaimer, the use of this app is at your own risk.
