📴 "AM I READY TO GO OFFLINE?" — THIS IS THE PART NOBODY ELSE DOES
The word "offline" hides three things: the translation model lives in the app, but speech recognition and the reading voice belong to Android and need their own downloads. People find out only once the plane doors close.

A readiness screen answers that in advance, for the language pair you actually use:
• Whether both translation packs are downloaded
• Whether the phone has a reading voice for your target language — if not, it opens the voice installer
• Whether offline speech recognition has its pack — on Android 13+ download it right there
• Text from photos: built in, always offline

🔊 IT CAN READ SLOWER
Speech speed from 0.5× to 1.5×, with a sample to listen to while you drag the slider. Long-press the speaker button to open it. Pro adds hands-free read-aloud: each translation you request is spoken as soon as it is ready.

✅ CHECK IT BEFORE YOU SEND IT
"Check this translation" translates the result back and compares it with what you wrote: close, partly different or different, with a warning if a number changed. A hint, not a guarantee.
