The Chu River-Han boundary is the dividing line on the chess board, which originated from the Chu-Han War. Judging from the format of the chessboard, there are nine straight lines and five horizontal lines on both sides of the Chu River and Han border. Nine is the largest in number, and five is in the middle of the number. The combination of vertical nine and horizontal five forms the "nine five" supreme, which is the highest, the largest and the largest, representing the throne. After the chess pieces are placed on both sides, the black and red confront each other and compete, which just artistically reproduces the historical appearance of Chu and Han vying for the world. Existing notation generally uses four words to record the movement of chess pieces.
The first word indicates the piece that needs to be moved.
The second word represents the straight line code of the moving chess piece (the red and black sides are counted from right to left from the bottom line of one's own side), the red side is represented by Chinese characters, and the black side is represented by Arabic numerals. When there are two identical chess pieces on the same straight line, the difference between the front and the back is adopted, such as "back car flat four", "front horse advances 7".
The third word indicates the direction of chess piece movement, "flat" is used for horizontal movement, "advance" is used for advancing to the opponent's bottom line, and "retreat" is used for retreating to one's own bottom line.
The fourth character is divided into two categories: when the chess piece advances and retreats on a straight line, it indicates the number of steps the chess piece advances and retreats; when the chess piece moves horizontally or obliquely, it indicates the number of the straight line reached.

Basic play

It can only move within the nine palaces, it can go up or down, left or right, and it can only move one grid vertically or horizontally each time it moves.
