Existing notation generally uses four words to record the movement of chess pieces.
The first word indicates the piece that needs to be moved.
The second word represents the straight line code of the moving chess piece (the red and black sides are counted from right to left from the bottom line of one's own side), the red side is represented by Chinese characters, and the black side is represented by Arabic numerals. When there are two identical chess pieces on the same straight line, the difference between the front and the back is adopted, such as "back car flat four", "front horse advances 7".
The third word indicates the direction of chess piece movement, "flat" is used for horizontal movement, "advance" is used for advancing to the opponent's bottom line, and "retreat" is used for retreating to one's own bottom line.
The fourth character is divided into two categories: when the chess piece advances and retreats on a straight line, it indicates the number of steps the chess piece advances and retreats; when the chess piece moves horizontally or obliquely, it indicates the number of the straight line reached.

Basic play
Shuai (General): Shuai (General) is the leader in chess and the goal that both sides strive for. It can only move within the nine palaces, it can go up or down, left or right, and it can only move one grid vertically or horizontally each time it moves. Shuai and Jiang cannot face each other directly on the same straight line, otherwise they will lose.
Shi (scholar): Shi
