[What is PASS?]

- Store authentication services such as simple identity verification, PASS ID (Driver's License, Resident Registration Card), and PASS Certificate, along with personalized benefits and asset information, in your wallet and check them all at once.

[Eligibility]

- LG U+ customers

※ Subscription and usage are only available on mobile phones registered under your own name.

※ Available on LG U+ corporate mobile phones and MVNOs (low-cost mobile carriers).

However, it is not available on corporate low-cost mobile carriers.

※ Individuals under the age of 14 may use the service after obtaining consent from a guardian (legal representative), and access to some services may be restricted. [Key Features]

- Identity Verification: Easily verify your identity and view authentication history via password or biometric authentication through the PASS app.

- PASS ID: Register your driver's license or resident registration card with PASS to use it conveniently with the same legal validity as a physical ID.

- ID Verification: Verify the authenticity of another person's mobile ID.

- Smart Ticket: Verify ID and flight ticket information with a single QR code when boarding domestic flights.

- PASS Certificate: Provides authentication, login, and electronic signatures for various financial and public services.

- Electronic Documents: Offers services for issuing, viewing, and submitting certificates from public institutions.

- PASS Money: A service that allows you to withdraw money accumulated in PASS to your account just like cash.

- Asset Inquiry and Recommendations: View your scattered assets and receive recommendations for financial products tailored to your needs.

- Mobile Payment: Check and change your mobile payment history and limits.

- Identity Theft Prevention: A free service that allows you to view mobile phones registered under your name and check for identity theft in real-time.

- Provides useful information and benefits for daily life, including finance, health, security, and mobile phone market price inquiries. Provision of Various Services

- Services that help you maintain your health by recording and managing lifestyle habits, such as diet logs and exercise logs.

- Security/Network/Web Scan Notifications: Notifications check for vulnerable OS versions, device damage, rooting status, screen lock usage, Bluetooth vulnerability, malicious activity after app installation, risks associated with connected or available Wi-Fi, and risks associated with links visited via Samsung Internet or Chrome.

[User Guide]

- The PASS service is a free service provided by LG Uplus.

- Sign Up: After installing the app and completing identity verification, registering a password or biometric authentication information to use within the PASS app completes your service registration.

- Simple Identity Verification: Simple identity verification is completed once authentication is completed via the PASS app. You can use the service more quickly if you set app notifications to ON. (Notifications will not be available if authentication is attempted after deleting the app.)

- Mobile Driver's License Verification: Register your driver's license in the PASS app to use it securely both online and offline. In particular, offline verification is completed when the requesting agency or verifier scans the QR code/barcode on the mobile driver's license screen.

- Mobile Resident Registration Card Verification: You can verify your age and identity without a physical Resident Registration Card by registering the information contained on the card into the PASS app. Authenticity is verified offline when an agency or verifier scans the QR code.

- PASS Certificate: You can obtain and use a certificate after completing identity verification and account verification in your name. The issued certificate is valid for 3 years.

[Important Notes]

- Available on Android OS 7 or higher; fingerprint authentication may be restricted depending on the phone model.

- Service usage may be restricted on devices released by other carriers.

- If the mobile device's operating environment is arbitrarily changed (rooting, hacking, etc.), the PASS service may not function.

[PASS Access Permission Items]

1. Essential Access Permissions

- Phone: PASS by U+ collects, transmits, and stores phone numbers to verify user information and authenticate users when signing up or using mobile payment services.

2. Optional Access Permissions

- Notifications: Required to receive notifications regarding identity verification, authentication services, benefit information, etc.

- Photos and Videos (Storage): Required for attaching and saving images stored on the device.

- Camera: Required for using services such as QR code authentication, photographing driver's licenses, ID verification, and taking photos.

- Location: Required for submitting (transmitting) mobile driver's license verification certificates to financial institutions, public agencies, etc., and for providing personalized information based on real-time location data.

- Biometric Information: Required for fingerprint authentication for identity verification.

- Address Book (Contacts): Used to import and save contacts when using the PASS Address Book service and cloud backup function. - Accessibility: Required to check the risk status of links visited in Samsung Internet and Chrome.

- Display over other apps: Required to display risk status results for links visited in Samsung Internet and Chrome.

- Stop battery usage optimization: Required to monitor device functions and apps in real-time to check for risks associated with the device.

- Physical activity: Required to measure the number of steps in the pedometer service.

- File and media access: Used to read files and media on the device when using cloud backup and automatic upload features.

- Media location information (optional): Used to read location information to verify media based on set conditions when using the cloud automatic upload feature.
