※You can only sign up and use the service on a mobile phone in your name.
※You can also use it on LG U+ corporate mobile phones and MVNO (cheap phones).

However, it cannot be used on cheap phones (corporate phones).
※People under the age of 14 can use the service after obtaining consent from their guardian (legal representative), and some services are restricted.

[User Guide]
- PASS service is a free service provided by LG U+.
- Membership registration: After installing the app, when you complete identity verification, register the password or biometric authentication information to be used in the PASS app to complete service registration.
- Easy identity verification: Easy identity verification is completed when you complete authentication through the PASS app. You can use it faster if you set app notifications to ON. (Notifications are not available when authentication is attempted after deleting the app)
- Mobile driver's license verification: You can register your driver's license in the PASS app and use it safely online and offline. In particular, offline, the verification is completed when the institution/verifier who requested the QR code/barcode on the mobile driver's license screen reads the code.
- Resident registration card mobile verification: Even without a physical resident registration card, you can register the information contained in the resident registration card in the PASS app to verify adult status and identity. Offline, the verification is completed when the institution/verifier reads the QR code.
- PASS certificate: After completing identity verification and account verification under your name, you can receive a certificate and use it. The issued certificate can be used for 3 years.

[Note]
- Available from Android OS 7 or later, and fingerprint authentication method may be limited depending on the mobile phone model.
- Service use may be restricted for terminals released by other telecommunication companies.
- If you arbitrarily change the mobile phone usage environment (rooting, hacking, etc.), the PASS service may not work.

[PASS access rights]
1. Mandatory access rights
- Phone: PASS by U+ collects/transmits/stores phone numbers to confirm and authenticate user information when signing up for membership and using mobile phone payment services.

2. Optional access rights
- Notifications: Required for receiving notifications such as identity verification, authentication services, and benefit information.

- Photos and videos (storage space): Required when attaching images stored on the terminal and saving images.

- Camera: Required when using services such as QR code authentication, taking driver's license photos, ID verification, and taking photos.

- Location: Required when submitting (transmitting) mobile driver's license verification certificates to financial institutions, public institutions, etc., and providing customized information based on real-time location information.

- Biometric information: Required when authenticating fingerprints for identity verification. - Address Book (Contacts): This is required to load gift contacts and use the warning information function for numbers not in the contacts.
- Accessibility: This is required to check the risk of links visited on Samsung Internet and Chrome.
- Show over other apps: This is required to display the results of the risk of links visited on Samsung Internet and Chrome.
- Stop battery usage optimization: This is required to check the risk of the terminal by conducting real-time terminal functions and app monitoring.
- Physical activity: This is required to measure the number of steps in the pedometer service.
